In 2018, the Lana Italia project was born from the collaboration between Paolo Appodia and Gianni Vencato. A difficult challenge to bring a product back on the market that for many years has been considered marginal and of little interest.

A millennial tradition, an ancient partnership between man and animal that was getting lost. An immense patrimony, which has determined the history of our country, relegated to the margins of modern society. This is why we have decided to go back to the origins, to Italian wool, to the shepherds who with their hard work keep something invaluable day by day. Lana Italia is the continuity of that thin thread that we risked breaking, and which returns to the houses with its marked features, strong and at the same time delicate, like a warm embrace that comes from afar.

We select the wools in close collaboration with the Shepherds, guaranteeing fair compensation and support for their work. We follow them on long journeys from south to north to always guarantee the highest quality to our customers. We work the precious raw materials in Italy, from combing to spinning, from weaving to packaging, guaranteeing traceability and a real Made In Italy. A unique case in this genre. We work with top-level partners to give our customers a product that lasts over time, and that is a legacy to be passed on from generation to generation.
